P.S. I bought a 1TB sata drive with windows 7(64bit) to add to it. total was $250.00 for computer, drive, & W7. I think it's everything I need for now. I hope it will last me for awhile. My next big ? is how many of my programs will run on it? (Yes I'm dating myself by calling applications programs heeheehee)

The programs that you have on your old system should have no trouble running on the new system. The only thing that concerns me is that you bought a system with DDR2 memory. You could have bought the computer that SpywareDr linked to and that would have been a better choice but that's just my opinion.

I know DDR3 is better but I liked everything else for a price that fit me besides, I have several G of (new)spare DDR2 memory & this machine is expandable up to 8G & if you can't make it faster at least make it bigger right?(just kidding here)
