Resolved Graphics display keeps changing

    After my HP crashed I bought a new Lenovo desktop and restored most of my files. Now, after a period of time away from the computer, the graphics display changes to one that is too big for my screen. In order to access the start programs I have to reset the graphics. At the same time all of my previously open programs have closed.
    How do I fix this?

    Tried to load the driver but nothing is working. This computer has been going downhill rapidly. Now I can't access the start menu. I can't reach settings.
    A while after clicking I get a message that the operation timed out.
    I'm totally frustrated. . Do I have a virus? A corrupt file?
