You're very welcome, and stay away from any registry tools unless you're computer pro.

    Search Provider Error

I still get this error when I open my IE 8 browser " "Search Provider Default: A program on your computer has corrupted your default search provider setting for Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer has reset this setting to your original search provider, Bing (search.live.com). Internet Explorer will now open Search Settings, where you can change this setting or install more search providers. "

I only got this error when I installed IE 8. Do you know what kind of problem this is?

    Thanks,
    John

    not yet

The link you posted for the search error seemed to be a dead link. But the google links are working fine now :) Is there another link to the correct place to post my problem? Thanks.

    The link works fine here.
    Try to copy, and paste:

    Code:

    oh yah

For some reason, when I click on the links that are posted, for example, the WOT site, it won't go to it. Is this another type of problem?

    Possibly some IE issue.
I really don't want to clog this thread with some separate issue, so I suggest, you start new topic in "Internet Explorer" section.

    it's ok

I opened up a new browser and it works fine, I guess sometimes for some reason the current browser won't work. But it seems like an easy fix.

    Thanks again broni! :)
