    Why does Google Earth not have a start menu shortcut in Windows 7? I tried manually creating my own shortcut, but after an auto-update, the shortcut breaks.

    Hi Dave,
    have you installed the latest version, I'm running Google Earth 5.1.3534.0411 build date March 2010, there is a folder in the all programs menu & I have a shortcut on the desktop, all the links work fine
