    hello,

I use windows XP service pack 3. I get this windows error pop up occasionally,

"Generic Host Process for Win32" On clicking the technical report, it showed:

    Error Signature
    szAppName: svchost.exe
    szModName:AcGenral.dll

When this happens, my wireless interface stops pinging. Please help me in solving this issue.

    Thanks in advance

Watch carefully what programs are running when the error occurs. AcGenral.dll is involved in running programs with "compatibility ".

When you identify the program, go to it's manufacturer's website and look for any updates or patches for your version of the program.

It might be caused by a program or driver that was supplied by the computer manufacturer (like HP, Gateway, Emachines, etc), go to their website and look for any (major) updates.

When it happens, you could go to Event Viewer (see Help and Support), double-click on the error and it should give you more information about the programs/files involved.
