I have a gateway ne56r47 laptop, and i need to replace the dc in plug, but cannot get the back of the computer off to access the plug. I removed all the screws and the silver plugs. Any ideas? Thanks!

Now that you have a full set of instructions would you consider your thread to be resolved - in terms of the initial question anyway :) If so ....

    Marking a thread as 'Resolved'

Best of luck BTW - you may need it!
