frozen screen

    I have IE 6 on my Windows XP computer. Recently my screen has been frequently freezing up and I have to press ctrl, alt, delete, to get out of it (but I then lose my web site and my internet connection). Can anyone tell me why my screen is freezing up and what I can do about it? Thank you very much. Al Brown
