freezing white screen

    Hello Everyone, I think my problem is firefox, but anyway when I am viewing a website it suddenly freezes and if i click on close it turns white and will not close. firefox seems to take up alot of processing, could that be what is causing this i always keep my cache and temp files clear. also when typing in my yahoo email when typing it is very jerky and slow. any ideas? Thank You.
