Resolved Forum does not accept attachments

    Hello, I am administrator of a forum group that consists of retirees from our company years ago. It has been in existence since the late 1990's. In the beginning the group was not able to attach pictures or for that matter any attachments.
    Now, this one member wants to send some pictures and asked me how he could do this in another way.
    We are allowed to send a link with the attachment in the link but I do not know how to do this.
    Does anyone know how I can make a link (URL) and insert the picture. I'm not sure I'm explaining this properly but any help will be appreciated.

    The picture(s) would have to be uploaded to some sort of file sharing site... Doing that in theory would create a link (URL) that you can share...

    You would have to do upload your pictures to something like Dropbox or Google Drive and then "share" them. Sharing them will provide a link you can paste into a forum post.

    Do you know where I can get instruction on how to upload my pictures to Google Drive and then "share" them? I just do not know where to start. Thank you.

    My house was hit by lightning a few days ago and all my communication was knocked out. I'm still not up and running fully.

    To share photos from Google Drive:
    1. Upload the desired photos to your Google Drive (if you haven't already), and move them into a folder.
    2. Check the box to select the folder, then click the Share button at the top of the page. ...
    3. The Sharing settings dialog box will appear.
