    I stand by my earlier post that 3.6 can (and does on my system) open a new tab for each url contained in emails and it still does. This function has been in v3 for a long tine and is in 3.6 too. If this function is failing on your system then something else (changes in the profile or an add on) is stopping it.

    Question: When you uninstall Firefox does it also remove the old profile? If not then a new install of FF might be using the old profile.

    Taking out the program does not bother the profile. When you install, the old profile is used...

    So, if there are problems, it is a good idea to create a new profile.
