FireFox 20.0.1 browser redirected to search.conduit.com

    When I open Firefox 20.0.1 I'm redirected to search.conduit as opposed to my Comcast home page. This just happened today and happens each time I open Firefox. What is the best way to remove this adware from my Dell DimensionE521? I'm hesitant to download anything from the web and thought this forum would be my best starting point.

    Have you tried changing it back the normal way, for temporary reprive?

    Which software have you installed recently?

    As far as I know Conduit search is malware and is often bundled with popular freeware programs...
