Windows Vista Finding laptop series from Model number Info

Neil,I am glad your laptop doesn't freeze now for you but I don't think my problem is the cooling fan and air flow as I can have the laptop turned off for days and it happens when I first turn on the laptop, but as I mentioned, it doesn't happen everytime. But thank you for your input.

 

Can you access your RAM easily? Remove RAM sticks and clean and blow out dust. Reinstall and see if that makes a difference.
I'm more inclined to think it's hardware related as your software works alright. Neil.

 

Yes Neil I can accrss my RAM but we have already tryed your suggestion too. Actually my husband cleans out all all our electronic equipment including computers every six months as he has equipment especially designed for cleaning out electronic equipment components because of his job.
