File sharing between Vista and '98

    Here's another problem on the same topic:
    I need to go a bit further and set up file sharing between Vista and '98.
    I's all fine on one side of the cable: Win98 just allows to mark it the folder's/disk's properties and it becomes visible from Vista. But Vista's folders, despite being marked shared, are not accessible. The trouble shows up even earlier: when I try to open Vista's comp in the LAN listing from Win98, it asks a password to it, giving the passworded location as "comp1//IPC$ ".
    P.S. Axel, this is a real issue with Win98, network drivers don't always seem to install well, just randomly creating problems like the one you had.
