When I start up IE Explorer 7..... for about a minute I receive a pop-up (an angel with halo and wings) saying "Internet Explorer Crashed - No Solution yet- more information (click) ... it then goes away - there's is nothing wrong with my pc... works fine, except for this annoying pop-up. Anyone any ideas - I've tried several cleaners and Malaware programs.

Hi reknaw. Since IE7 is now a very out of date browser, I would recommend that you upgrade to Internet Explorer 8.
After IE8 installs and you reboot the computer, let me know if IE8 crashes when you attempt to start it or if it runs without a problem.

I'm not saying IE 7 actually crashes, it doesn't... it's just this annoying message that pops up - some kind of spam I suspect. I'd like to get rid of the pop-up and don't really feel like upgrading to IE 8

Can you post a screenshot of the message that comes up when you start IE7?

What happens if you start IE7 with no add-ons? Click Start< All Programs< Accessories< System Tools< Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). Do you still get the error message?

Does the message come from Windows itself?

Also please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions.

Note: A common error is to forget to show your System Details in your profile:

Make sure to do the above when entering your System Details, thanks.

That's your choice of course, but it put you at a significant disadvantage, not the least in the security 'department', but IE8 also follows browser standards more then its predecessor.

In case you haven't heard yet, Google is ending IE8 support in two months.

Google Puts Internet Explorer 8 on Notice, Ends Support in Nov.

IE8 is the latest, and last version of IE that'll run on Windows XP.
