[Excel Editor/viewer corrupt after one time use?]

    I got a Editor/viewer for excel. Once I've used it, the next time the file is corrupted. I try using it on a computer without office. I try to open a file from a computer with office. It works one time. Do I have the wrong version? I attempted to get the latest. My office is 365.

    Difficult to say as you did not post details of what you are trying to use.

    The Microsoft Excel Viewer does not permit you to edit a workbook ....

    You can always try Google Docs it has helped me several times to open files that seem to be a problem when using what should be the correct program to open them but seem unable to do it.
