Since he already has a licensed version of ghost I saw no ethical issue in giving him a ghost 2003 boot cd I made using a win98 system w/out the win98 ram drive utilities, just simply a boot cd that will boot to ghost after typing at the prompt d:\ghost\ghost.

Ghost2003 is supposed to be included with later versions of ghost, per Symantec KB. He has a rescue cd that came w/ his version of ghost & suspect that ghost2003 is on that cd.

    Ghost 2003 compression levels:
    Choices are none-fast-high

    Christer--
Yes, I should have posted the version of my Ghost.exe file. Here it is.
    D:\>GHOST\GHOST.EXE -ver
    Norton Ghost 2003 (build=793, cdrlib=3.1.25)
Copyright (C) 1998-2003 Symantec Corp. All rights reserved.
    Looks like yours. :)

TonyT--Thanks for the links. I am almost certain I cannot get that "Compress Image" window when I run Ghost.exe that I got from a "kind person ". But next time I run Ghost.exe I will search again. Maybe the fact that the image I am trying to Clone is more than 2GB is the reason.
(Who said you are the "kind person "?) I did not.

Darned if I can find Ghost2003 on the Symantec Recovery Disk or anywhere else, like the NortonSystemWorks installation disk.
When I use the Symantec Recovery Disk, I can access the V2iConsole.exe file, but on one attempt I could not start Ghost9.0 by clicking on it. I cannot remember the error message.
