This is a corporate PC connected to a large Domain. Although i'm not sure if that' pertinent here.

Here is the list of processes running at the soonest moment I am able to open Task Manager after boot+login, and of course I typed in my UN&PW right away ASAP during this process so that hopefully nothing would finish and drop out of the running processes list:

And here is about 30 seconds later once all of the "On Boot" services, programs, etc., had finished loading:

It is the addserial_cC.exe process but Google finds 0 entries in regards to that...

EDIT: What's really messed up is that a file search for "*addserial_cC*" (without quotes) turns up nothing on the entire drive!

Anything of that nature not found on Google immediately raises suspicions re. malware - I would head over to the Malware & Virus Removal forum .....

Please read this as indicated at the head of the forum and post the logs requested.

FWIW I ran the same search (without asterisks this time, I know it shouldn't make a difference but whatever) on "My Computer" and nothing is still found on network shares, etc. Odd.

I will provide the information you request(ed) a little bit later today. Thanks for your help and quick responses!

When searching the drive did you include hidden files & folders?

EDIT: I think I figured out what's going on here with help of some detective work in the Registry.
