Error 2003 File size does not match FAT allocation for File

    i delete partition using windows xp bootup cd and then wanted to install new windows but i wanted to format into fat32 but it wasn't showing during installation then i reboot computer using msdos diskete and delete partition and make new primary dos partition and and run winodws xp installation during installation i didn't format the drive just leave no change in operating system..
    k after installation i installed power quest partition manager to make and another partition i m using 40gb maxtor hard disk. after i create new partition and apply changes computer reboots and i recieve follow error.
    power quest: Error 2003 File size does not match FAT allocation for File.
    how can fix it and how can i make a new partition...

    From the Powerquest manual ....

    Error #2003 File size does not match FAT allocation for File.

    Run Scandisk or Chkdsk to fix this error.
