dvd drive

hi was wondering if there is a way to see if my dvd drive would play box set dvds. it has worked before but now just turns and hear a noise as the disc starts again any help would be breatful.

 

Is this on the same laptop you've just reinstalled windows on?

If so did you install MB/Chipset drivers etc?

where can i get the driver for the dvd as windows saying i'm up to date with the driver.

i have filled my system in the best i could as was a wee bit tricky in bits.

Sorry for the delay I thought I posted yesterday but I've been having connection issues

Anyway,

Try going to medions driver download page and completing the details, download and install any drivers there relating to m/board and/or chipset.

hi done that. i then tried about four dvds 2 worked and 2 didn't is there anything else i could try and thank you for the help on this.
