I have a stick USB tuner which works perfectly connected to the roof antenna
with my old laptop XP 32b.
Now I have moved to a new 64b computer with Windows 7 and the USB stick
does not work. Even the computer does not feel its presence.
Do you think it is a matter of driver, or should I buy a new tuner? Thanks to everybody, Paolo from Rome, Italy.

Most likely driver, make and model of tuner would help.

Be aware there may not be Win 7 drivers available.

wildfire is absolutely correct, I also have a older version USB DVBT HD TV receiver. Connected to my main roof antenna, that gives me a great digital picture, but only on my XP machine, no drivers available for Win 7 and I only get one half baked channel.

Thanks to everybody. For the time being I will keep my old computer just to watch TV. Have a nice time, Paolo.

You don't say which version of Win 7 you have, if professional or above you're entitled to run a XP virtual box on your 7 system which would allow you to watch TV on your new system.
