Dual-booting between PATA and SATA then deleting PATA

    Thinking about the booting issue some more:

    You probably can use the XP cd as a boot cd - I say probably because I don't have two C installations and outside of my experience.

    But, do not do any repairs - when it asks which installation to boot into, that's it, just boot into it.

    Hmmm... having further trouble, now with installing XP at all. XP installs to the SATA drive seemingly with no trouble, but then on boot it tells me it's nor a valid boot device, or something similar. *sigh*
