Mojo13. Set the DSL router and the printer to use the same subnet. The two networks do not have to be physically connected to use the same IP addressing scheme.

Can you give us the IP address and mask of a laptop on the DSL network and the same when on the printer network? We can then advise on the best route forward, or possibly spot that there is another factor here that we've missed. The best for us would be an IPCONFIG dump:

    IPCONFIG /ALL > IPCONFIG.LOG

I will not be able to get back to this until Thursday or Friday.
IPs on laptops, printer server; 192.0.0.100 thru 109; Subnet 255.255.255.0
    ad hoc mode

DSL; Obtain IP automatic (changes each time?)
    any connection available
If this is not what you want, please explain how to get DSL settings.

Although the IP addresses change each time, part of the address will remain the same. I'd like just an example of one, as from that I will be able to workout the bit that stays the same..

However, straight away I can see that the printer has an unusual address. Strictly a private class C address should start 192.168. Your print's starts 192.0. I think that the printer's IP address will be the one to change. If your running your DSL unit with the default settings I expect the address starts 192.168. I'd even put money on the third octet being 0. So the laptop addresses will be in the form 192.168.0.x where X is dynamically assigned.

Also when the laptops are on the DSL network, can you tell us what the default gateway is set to? That should be the internal IP address of the DSL unit.
