Welcome to the boards. Near the top left, click on User CP and fill out the info. Your post leaves a lot to be desired in your question. Don't know how big a HD you have or what you have installed to tell you what to remove. Kind of like asking a fellow. How long is a piece of string?

Don't feel alone. That was my biggest headache when I started using Windows :)

Have you filled the drive up with your own data? Was the computer a hand-me-down from somebody else and their files are on the drive? How long have you been using the computer? Do you have any guesses as to why the drive is full?

Go to Start (orb) -> Help and Support and search for the term "clean ", it will tell you about removing temporary files and making some space. Do other searches in Help and Support, you will learn how Windows works (when I got Windows 95, I read the whole Help system... excellent bedtime reading! :D). Help and Support in Vista is very good. We can give you step-by-step instructions, but how does that improve your ability to use Windows? ;) [Although we don't know what files and programs you have on your computer, as MrBill was saying.]

We can't give you any specific instructions, you need to do the investigation yourself. Read in Help and Support, it will give you the leads (and a few points for your experience level).

    Matt
PS: Tip...If you "drag and drop" from one drive to another, the files are copied, so the original files will remain on your C: drive. Watch what are copied or "moved ".
