    Hi People
I entered the world of designing/maintaining and using computers in 1951. I worked as a juniour engineer at National Physicsl Laboratory in UK where the Turing design for an Automatic Computing Engine (ACE) was one of 3 such projects in UK. I was at NPL for 25 years leaving as founder member and leader of 'Pattern Recognition Group' in the 'Electronics Section' of NPL. The group was active in developing OCR, Visual Inspection and Personal Identification (signature) systems.
I am now retired from gainful employment but still dabble in evolutionary (genetics like) methods for design of complex engineering problems on my PC.
    Enough
    John Parks.
