I have a system which I had to reload my XP Prof. and when I boot up the system, everything looks normal on boot except after the welcome screen, the display goes blank. The power light on the monitor starts blinking and the indicator light on the tower is still running. I can boot in safe mode and it seems to work fine, so I eliminated bad monitor or driver. Any help would be appreciated...

When you say 'reload' XP do you mean a clean install with format? If so you must load the chipset drivers - did you do that?
In Safe Mode a Windows default driver is used - not the specific driver for your graphics card.

If your graphics are onboard - chip on the mobo - the chipset drivers should include the graphics driver. If a plug in card you will need to load the drivers from the manufacturer's website.

We encourage all members to complete their System Specifications which help us to help you :) Then we would know detail of your mobo and graphics.
