dialog boxs appear behind active windows

    When I am in an application and do a "save as" or "print ", the dialog box pops up behind the current application window. Sometimes I need to go into the toolbar to find it. Is there any preference to change this so it acts "normally" by displaying the dialog box as the front most window?

    Running Windows Seven Pro on a new Dell Optiplex 960, Intel Core2 Duo CPU E8400/3.0GHz. Hope that helps.
