Resolved Devices not working with Win 10

    Since upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 Pro 32-bit, a few things are not working on my Dell Inspiron 14iR, i3.
    (1) DVD Drive: It is listed under Device Manager with status "This device is working properly". It is listed under Drives and devices. It opens and closes. Windows 10 Troubleshooting returns The best driver software for your device is already installed. When I insert a CD/DVD and try to access it, I get error message Please insert a disk in D: then the drive opens. My drive brand is now listed as TSSTcorp DVD+-RW TS-L633J SCSI CDROM although I am very sure it reads/writes DVDs.
    (2) Bluetooth. This one is not even listed under Device Manager. No help is available under Windows 10 Troubleshooting.
    Please help.

    DVD drive - blow the dust out of it.

    Bluetooth - reinstall the drivers off the cd that came with the machine or Dell's web site.

    I have the similar fault in Windows 10, DVD/CD responds in part after a lengthy wait, then keeps on start/stop with videos play. No solution to date has been located.

    Computer is an HP Desktop model. Out of curiosity, tried the Dell software to check, but as expected failed.

    Have you tried contacting Dell? Support | Dell US I would do a live chat and ask if Drivers are necessary when upgrading from W7 to W10.

    Bobby, you've posed your problem in Frederick's Thread which will be confusing. Your Compac Presario CQ5115uk was released in 2009 and was installed with Vista originally. You upgraded to W7 and then to W10 and I would think Legacy drivers need to come from HP to cure your problems. It might pay to re-open your original Thread on the subject.

    There is no hope of ever HP solving this or at any future time. HP updates for this computer has at best of times been most sparse. To contact HP direct on this error would be a waste of time especially it being 2009 and out of guarantee. Original thread is similar but only my opinion, this thread refers to me personally.

    Bobby it's like I posted in your thread HP is no longer offering updates for you Model computer. HP will download and install up to Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit Operating Systems. HP is trying to get HP users with Windows 7 and 8.1 to purchase machines with Windows 10 preinstalled

    fkaramagi: Click on the link in TonyT's post enter your Dell Service Tag, then check to see if Dell is offering Windows 10 drivers for your model computer.

    I replaced the DVD drive (hardware) and it is working ok
    Bluetooth issue remains unresolved.

    I have downloaded drivers R226746.exe, re-installed and bluetooth is now working.
