Device manager problems

Hello I am new here and I am facing a very big problem. My device manager isn't working. Tried to open it using the search bar in start and after clicking in device manager nothing happens. Than I can not use the start any more. Also when moving the mouse around the icons they won't flash. I have to restart my computer to use it again. Also if I try to open it from control panel again won't open and the window of control panel gets stuck. I have to close it from task manager. I thought that it was from the viruses. Made a scan, some viruses were found and after the scan ended I could open it but after some days again the problem appeared. I would appreciate any help.

 

What viruses? Are you sure you are completely clean? What did you use to find these viruses?
The first thing I would do if it was me would be go to the Malware section and read the http://www.windowsbbs.com/malware-virus-removal/announcements.html and follow all the instructions. Broni is good at what he does.

 

I use AVG. Should I use another antivirus??
