Dell Netbook Mic Too Low

    My mic doesn't work work on my new dell latitude netbook. I went to the control panel and turned the mic up all the way and it is still too low to here with volume all the way up. I don't understand? :/

    Welcome to the boards. Please go to User CP near the top left of this page and fill out your system specs.

    You say it is NEW. What did Dell say when you contacted them?


    Built in Mic's are not as good as stand alone Mic's are in the first place. Another thing, the Mic is on the top of the screen and you aren't really as close to it as you would be with a regular Mic.
