    Hello Everyone,

I am a newbie. Recently one of the folders in my USB drive had got corrupted, while working in fedora. The file names became something like "$#11Ff... ". I was not able to open any of the subfolders and files there. I ran chkdsk under windows like 'chkdsk e: /r" and things wont worse. The folder got deleted :( and I don't know how to recover it.
    Pl help

Hi Hobhub, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

I would try downloading and running Recuva which should hopefully find the missing files and folders on your USB drive and recover those files for you. See if that program works.

Also please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions.

Note: A common error is to forget to show your System Details in your profile:

Make sure to do the above when entering your System Details, thanks.
