My HP Notebook has been updated as well as the wife's comp. We had a power outage and the wife rushed to tell me something funny had happened to her comp. I did a hard shut down - then restarted the comp and a grey screen with a message that 100% download was complete and installing, don't shut down the comp. I expected problems through the power outage, but all went OK.:D
Weather is extremely bad at the moment.:eek:Cold southerlies, rain, snow-the lot and slips, road closures, flooding. Airports are closed (140kph winds) ferry sailings are off (10metre swells) New Zealand has closed down for a couple of days. Thank god we can still communicate when the power is on.;) The news reported that on the last ferry crossing yesterday, they were running short of vomit bags.o_O:eek:

The only problem that I seem to be having is with FF and long running scripts which I would think that this update has nothing to do with it. Happened since the update and not before. FF quits responding but does recover itself.

MrBill, have you tried FF Help > Troubleshooting > Refresh FF?

I will try that next. I had read a post about long scripts and it suggested to clear cache which I do every night. Also cookies for some reason and I don't usually clear them. I had one long running script since I did that and that is a lot less than I have been having. Will do the refresh next.

    Thanks
