    Hi,

I have a Drive containing all my files and I need to find a way of backing up these files once or twice a week. The size of the drive is about 3 gig.

I have used Norton Ghost in the past (but it takes too long)
I am using the Win XP backup tool today (but it also takes too long)¨

The thing is that most f the files don't really change on a weekly basis but as I am adding files on a daily basis and sometimes changing older files I feel that I need to make sure everything is backed up and up-to-date.

Is there no quicker way to do it. Like after doing one big backup then I can just regularly synchronize the drive and the back-up folder so they are both up-to-date?

Or do you have any other suggestions?

    CP

Take a look at this thread
Numerious options, a few seconds of resource load using Task Scheduler / changed files only / every "X" hour(s). Had a few problems with XP's scheduler, but got them worked out.

I'm with both DennisL and Sid - use/used both Karen's Replicator and Synchback - both did the job perfectly. Currently running Synchback on an hourly basis - very reliable so far and great for synchronising.
