    To reduce the risk of accidental deletion.




    In Windows 8:
    1. Press [Winkey][E], (or type in "explorer" {without the quotes} and then press [Enter]),

    2. Press [Alt][V], (or click "View" if you have Explorer's Menu enabled),

    3. Press [Y] and [Enter], (or click "Options" over on the right and then select "Change folder and search options "),

    4. Click the "View" tab, select the "Show hidden files, folders, or drives" options, click "Apply" and then "OK ".
