Controlling cookies in IE

In win XP PRO under the Privacy tab if you click on advanced it
will give you the option of blocking First party cookie & Third party cookies.

Note: Some site will not let you if you have Third party cookies blocked. Then if I can't get to some particular then I change it.

I only had this happen on my companies SECURE site when I was in the process of ordering materials.

The next line down is called Web Sites (highlighted in blue),
if you go EDIT there it pulls up a whole list of sites that I guess have been blocked. My list is very long and I know I did not do anything Manually to block these site--and of course there are numerous **** sites listed.

Since I installed the freeuse version I've had NO hits on either AdAware or SpyBot. I haven't noticed any down side to running this app. I'm using XPhomeSp1.

I've already had a look at spysites, just haven't decided if I'm going to use it yet. Since you haven't noticed any down side to it I'll probably give it a test.
