    Hello Everyone,
I have been having a problem with my laptop. This is an emachines model M6805 with XP os. I have replaced the hard drive three times. Exchange the ram with another machine exactly the same and the problem persists. This a very frustrating problem. When the machine crushes it gives me no error message. I checked the system's error log and it said application popup. Can someone tell me what could this problem be? Thanks in advance for the help. I had this problem for over a year.

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

Frustrating indeed and no easy solution given the lack of error messages. Could well be a hardware problem - motherboard - at what frequency does the computer crash?

OTH there is a chance it could be malware - you do run antivirus and maintain the definitions current?

To clear up that possibility go to the Malware & Viruse Removal forum and ....

Please read this as indicated at the head of the forum and post the logs requested in a new thread.
