We can only give you some guides. You will have to do the tests and checks.

I put the term kernel into Help and Support. A result is "Specify what Windows does if the system stops unexpectedly ". That will tell you about specifying the various "dump" recordings. Since you can no only get Minidumps now, things like "you must have 50MB to 800MB of available for the paging file" might be the problem. I think your paging file is being taken up with running applications.

What if the problem is that the physical memory is getting filled and you are running on Pagefile? You can either get more RAM or back up your data and format Windows.

Maybe you should get some experience with backing up, formatting and reinstalling Windows. What if the BSODs begin happening before you get into Windows? What if your HDD fails tomorrow?

Disabling items in msconfig may not stop all "user" applications from running in the background. Read at the author's website of programs like Startup Cop.

Running Windows Disk Cleanup may not remove all the "junk" from Temp or Temporary Internet Files folders. Investigate this, but I have taught myself to find the files:

    There is information at www.helpwithwindows.com

Your system may work perfectly well if you do not allow it to be bogged down with "burdens ". How much (internet) junk may be on your system? You mother may know how to avoid or remove burdens on her system.

    Tip:
Don't select suggestions that you "like" or seem easy. Investigate all of them.

PS: Take out the RAM modules and clean the connections with a soft pencil eraser (I should say to clean down the connectors, not across ;))
EDIT: This is your User Manual

Edit2: Did you find the update for your chipset drivers?
