I have tried several methods including the one's you linked to and have found that I cannot slipstream SP2 (Dell reinstall disk XP Pro) so that it will work. They always look good until I try to use them and then BSOD because of corrupted usbehci.sys and other methods giving win32K.sys as the culprit.

My disk has some scratches on it and I suppose that could be the problem but I have given up and am using Acronis True Image now.

BTW usasma what is your affiliation with the SGM academy? Retired (1976) 1SG myself.

I picked up the usasma nickname on my return from Germany in 2000 (and was sent to Ft. Bliss for the Resident Course). I hadn't been using anything but the Army's email in Germany. My old email address' were long forgotten, so I had to start anew - usasma was the first thing that popped into my head when signing up for a Hotmail account.

I was at USASMA for 4 classes (1 as a student and 3 as an instructor in Military Operations) - and those years were where I first started spending significant time on computer forums. So the usasma nickname just sorta stuck with me - and it's what I use most places that I visit on the web.

What MOS were you? I was a 12B (Combat Engineer).
