Resolved Computer is making a loud beep sound during startup

    Well if you formatted the partition then reboot the computer and see if it boots into Windows normally. If it boots normally then post a fresh screenshot of the Disk Management window in your next reply.

    I did format and installed new os..

    Also when i powered it will bring a list of windows to boot into..

    Remove the D partition in Disk Management, then run the bcdedit /set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu no command from Command Prompt again and reboot the computer. Windows should now boot without the boot selection menu and hopefully the beep sound won't be present this time.

    So are you recommending that i should have just one partition?

    Hello Evan!
    I did format and deleted the D partition and allocated the volume to C. also i run the bcdedit /set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu no command
    but the display option is still showing..link =>http://imgur.com/a/nOHIp

    The boot manager has disappeared but when i booted my pc only to see a screen promt to choose from several different options

    here is the list of options that are presented during the boot up process.
    Windows 7 Vista/Server (Pointer)
    Windows 7 Vista/Server
    Windows 7 Vista/Server (debug-default mode)
    Windows 7 Vista/Server (debug-legacy mode)
    Windows 7 Vista/Server (no slic-pointer)
    Windows 7 Vista/Server (no-slic)
    Windows NT /2000/XP
    Loader Help

    Use the up down keys to highlight an entry.Press enter or 'b' to boot...Press 'c' for a command line.

    That partition layout is how Windows should be set up so your partition layout in Disk Management looks fine now.

    Since you only have windows 7 installed you shouldn't be seeing any other menus to load other operating systems.

    Can you post a screenshot of the entire window showing the boot options? Thanks.

    When my computer is booted only screen promt will popup to choose from several different options above..

    I did followed those steps but i couldn't arrived at somewhere because i have only one operating system installed not 2

    Did you make sure to perform a clean install of Windows 7 and remove all of the current partitions during the installation of Windows 7?

    This menu that you are seeing could have been placed there by Acer since it could be a feature of your model of laptop. Have you gone into your laptops BIOS and looked for any settings regarding a Windows boot menu?
