Have you performed any major hardware upgrades to your machine recently? If you did. Did you take into account that you may need a more powerful PSU(Power Supply Unit)? Is this your Model Asus Motherboard with Military Grade? Asus Sabertooth P 67 Manual Did you do any overclocking? Did perform any changes in the AI Tweakers, or AI Advanced Menu options.

Sorry about the incomplete post so I've amended my post#21 to include the motherboard manual and added a few more questions.

How has your clean and dusting been going?
Just one other suggestion - go into BIOS and Save and exit with DEFAULT Settings and see if that helps. Neil.

Did Speccy give you a thermal read out of your computer's internal components, marcusdk? It would be interesting to know what they are considering your current problems.

Neil, I did have an old custom-built unit one time that did not run well in hot weather. I had to remove the case door at times to keep the PC from freezing up.

Well right now i don't have anything really to blow out any dust in my computer. I'm gonna buy one of those compressed air source and try it out.

I use vacuum cleaner exhaust, but be sure the unit has sufficient filtration in place to be on the safe side. Our Filter Queen is excellent for this purpose, and it has a lower vacuum / blower setting to boot. Just be sure to keep your PC's cooling fan blades from turning no matter what method you use to blow out the dust.

All I can add to this conversation is my experience with this problem: Amongst my collection I have two machines--one, an old MPC CLIENTPRO running XP and the other is just a clone running Win7 Ultimate. Both were doing random freezing--no blue screens. The MPC is a really compact machine and issue was the ide cable was pushing on the RAM and causing the freeze. On the clone, I just reseated the RAM, the Vid Card, and blew out the dust on the Vid Card fan. I have had no issues for several months now.

    Hope this helps

James, I bought a new case when I did this build last year. It came with 3 x 140mm cooling fans and it runs real cool.
Compared to old design cases - the air flow through the new ones is much better. I'm running a fan heater behind me at the moment and 'Speccy' shows the CPU running at around 27°C so I'm pleased with the cooling control the case has.
marcusdk, just follow my previous info on cleaning out your comp and let's know how it goes. Neil.
