Comp Restarts Randomly!

Hi homer,

I'm moving this thread to the Hardware section where the hardware folks would have a better handle on this.

I think it's apparent the problem isn't OS/Software related.

First crash was with Firefox. Files referenced in the second are avgtdi.sys "AVG Network connection watcher" and IDMan.exe "Internet Download Manager Application ".
All related to the internet.

Charlesvar's suggestion sounds good. There is a memory diagnostics in my signature if you want to do some testing.

Other than that, I would be looking at the internet connection. Could your firewall be blocking programs?

I don't seem to have that AVG file in my system, although I do have AVG. I didn't install Email checking though (I find it problematical ).
