Have you tried a change in Resolution to see if it works? Neil.

What I meant was, if you change the Resolution does the colour give you 32bit or stay at 8bit. Neil

What resolution causes the colour change from 32bit?
    Can you live with it?
If the drivers are correct and the resolution up or down causes the colour change, I'm inclined to think that the graphics card is faulty. Load may be sufficient to show a weakness in the card circuits. Neil.

In this case, I don't think the resolution has anything to do with my problem any longer. I can set the resolution anywhere from 800x600 to 1400x900 and everything in between and leave it at that setting and the color quality will change each time I restart my computer.

I guess my problem can't be solved. Called NVidia and they had me go through and load new driver. Same result. Called Samsung (monitor) for new firmware which NVidia referred to. None available for plug n play monitor, so same result. I guess my last resort is to toss the video card. Thanks anyway.

Note to Administrator: Why not just close this thread as it has come to a dead end.

Sorry we couldn't help more. Top of page Thread Tools > Mark as Resolved and it can re-activated if you wish to. Cheers Neil.
