I am doing some work on a Dell 4700. Software is Windows XP Home. Problem is that someone has done virus removal of the virus containing CMD32. exe. The cleanup evidently removed the file CMD32.exe but left the
"run CMD32.exe" in the system. Now on start up, I get the message that cmd32.3exe cannot be found.

I have read messages in this forum and looked at the registry entries given, and not found any indication of what is running the command. I have also tried several spyware and malware removal apps including Spybot S and D, with no luck. I have scanned the system using Vipre, Trend Micro Pro, AVG, and AVAST with no positive results.

I have checked Start up folder, msconfig start up, and as mentioned, the registry entries listed in an earlier thread on the subject.

Anyone have any ideas where the run command is hiding? Sure would appreciate any suggestions.
