Therefore, E-Mail client for windows 7 is WLM or Outlook. Correct? Request procedure to rid the screen of the hated blue vertical lines? Please advise. Thanks for your time.

    Make it a great day,
    Lis

Not entirely - Thunderbird as posted by Christer above and no doubt other emailers too.
I suggest you start a new thread on this (WLM I assume) - that is outside the context of this thread..

    Hi Lis,

    Have you tried this?

    WLMail. Workaround:

After clicking Forward, highlight and delete anything you don't want to
send. Original address info, anti-virus footer, etc.

    For the vertical lines:
Place the cursor at the bottom most part of the quote line. On the Menu Bar,
click the Format Paragraph button and then Decrease Indent. Two lines? Do it
    again.

    Above gotten from here

Had success with one line. Four or five lines impossible? Thanks goddez1.

    Hi Lis,

I'm running out of ideas but see if the below work-a-rounds are acceptable.

I read that you can highlight ( "select all "/ CTRL+A) , copy the content of the forwarded email and paste it into a new "composed email ". This will remove the boarder lines.

    OR

If not concerned with keeping any graphics that may be in the original message you can erase the lines by changing the format from rich text to plain text and then back to rtf or html. If graphic retention is important, you save all the original email first then rebuild the message, using "copy and paste" for pictures.

    OR

I know this sounds like a lot of work but if the peeve is big or strong enough, the above work a rounds should do it.

Thanks for all the info. Hopefully, Bill Gates shall come to the rescue and provide a "source edit" om WLM and Outlook?
