Capturing streaming videos

    Does anyone know if there is any safe freeware that can capture and download streaming videos from the web? I hope I posted this on the correct forum but probably not. Sorry. Thanks!

    You can read about Keepvid here. Its probably the simplest one but I think it only saves in Flash Video.

    then there's CamStudio, but I don't know much about it.

    A Google Search returns lots of hits.
