Resolved Can't open Http links in Outlook 2003 email

New computer. Windows 7 home pro. I am using Outlook 2003.
When I click on a link in any of my emails nothing happens.

Not sure if this belongs under Outlook or Windows posts.

Using same version of Outlook on WIN XP, clicking on the links always works.

I have Norton security, but I turned that completely off and still had the same problem so that should not be the cause.

Default Browser is Firefox.

File associations shows htm and html as Firefox.

If I a click on a link while in Yahoo email on Firefox, that does work.


I have absolutely no idea about how to solve this one. Frankly, Windows 7 and its security etc. have been driving me nuts. I have spent the past week installing my programs, and this is the only one I have so far not been able to solve on my own.

Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The fix refers to Outlook Express and Word, but I decided to try it any way and now works.

Why I love this BBS! it has almost never failed me.

Worth every penny.
