I notice that your signature lists TB 1.0.3, but the latest version I can find is 1.0.2. ???

    Hi Paul,

The BCC extension is only a button in the "Contacts" list in TB 1.02, as the default list lacks this button. However, if you are skittish about using an extension, then don't...

You are most welcome, Paul. Trust me, it has been my pleasure to be able to offer that help! :)

    Cheers!

    Ramona

So far as extensions go, only a few are really necessary (although they vary from user to user, depending on his/her needs, wants, desires). Keeping them up to date is the important thing, and the aforementioned InfoLister is very helpful in doing just that.

But, the effects of Thenes are not permanent. One can always go back.
As for Walnut, or something woody, I was recycling old profiles, and I got this Sillydog7.02, with a woody theme. I did not recall what was its pedigree, but it showed the Mozilla throbber, and I had no way to set up Netscape webmail.
So, I went into the prefs.js, and I deleted at least half a dozen references to Mozilla1.4. And Webmail appeared, all in a sudden. I have found out that incompatible Themes affect mail, in various ways.

    Ramona ...

I never was quite sure whether you were asking if Add/Remove was still available after using RegSeeker, or whether RegSeeker removed "dead" entries of programs which had been uninstalled, but left their Add/Remove listings behind.

I finally used an installer version of Firefox 1.0.3 final this morning, then uninstalled it in favor of the 04-18 Aviary build of 1.0.4, which has a newer version of Gecko (1.7.8, vs 1.0.3's 1.7.7).

After uninstalling it, the Mozilla Firefox 1.0.3 entry remained in Add/Remove ... RegSeeker 1.35b removed it, with no adverse effects to Add/Remove ... it continued to function properly.

    Paul,
my Theme test with Netscape or Mozilla had been from way back to do a cursory test on the browser side, and then check Mail. Invariably problems occurred at the Mail side. So, condidering that Themes are nothing more than eye candy, I feel that they should taste good all the way.
Mozilla.org is no longer releasing .zip file, and there is a discussion about it
