It is set to boot disk first. This time I let Media Creation Tool burn the disk (before I had gone to the iso the Tool created and then burned it to a disk) and guess what it is booting to Windows Setup. Looks like a go. Will update!

Holy cow, I think this is a go. I'm up to the point where it is now loading current Windows updates...and now it's setting things up, and there's the desktop!

I think what started this whole mess was not burning the original iso disk from right inside of the Media Creation Tool. I think that simple step would make all the difference. Thanks to all for input.

You are welcome. :) Glad everything is working now. Don't forget to install all the latest drivers for your hardware devices along with installing all the latest Windows Updates.

Everything is loaded and installed now. But a little glitch. When I was choosing Win version to load from the install it gave 3 choices; Win 10, Win 10 Home Single Language, and Win 10 Pro. Since I knew my 7 Home Premium gets me Win 10 Home I selected the one with Home Single Language. Well when activating it had a problem doing it so I'm on phone now with MS. He said I shouldn't have chosen the Home SL version, but the Win 10. Now he's trying to fix the activation since my product key is no longer good with the single lang. version!

And I told him there really is no such thing as a Win 10 Home Single Language version according to their listing. That's why I'm sure I'm not the only one being confused by the 3 choices to install.

SO, if you are clean installing, when the choices come up and you want Win 10 Home only choose the Win 10 on the list, and NOT Win 10 Home Single Language or Win 10 Pro.

I said I skipped the entering of the Product Key in install which everyone recommends. He said it might be a better idea to enter the Key when it asks for it, since it would have told me at that point that I couldn't choose Win 10 Home Single Language with that Key.

And now we are in the process of getting ready to do another clean install, because he tried to get it to take the Product Key but it won't go......

So he just was able to generate a new Product Key and Win seems to be loading.

And there it is. Win 10 Home is up and running. Started System Restore and made 2 restore points right away. Thanks again.
