can't access hp win 8 laptop

    I am wondering if there is anything I can do with this machine. It is a hp amd vsion e300 pc. running windows 8. It was purchased second hand, has no disks, no password reset was created. my mother purchased this machine for my 11 year old niece, who changed the owner password (owner is the only account listed. She doesn't remember the password and can't get past the login screen.

    I see that you can't help me with this so please delete this post....

    Buying a PC without the installed OS... not a good idea. Get a copy of Windows 8 (or better yet Windows 7) and format/reinstall.
