Can't access files from floppy

    Greetings all!

    Recent problem with floppy drive. CPU will read and show contents of the disk, however when I try to open a file, the CPU locks up, and I can only clear the lock by restarting with CTRL+ALT+DEL. Have tried to open many disks with same result. Any suggestions?

    Have you tried a different floppy cable? You may have to pick up another floppy drive ($9) on the chance that your currently floppy drive is hosed. But make sure you try a different floppy cable first.
