Solved Cannot Update Windows Vista

Yes resetting IE helped and te computer is running great. In fact, the young girl just came by to pick it up so I sure hope she is careful with downloading from certain sites.

I want to donate a little for all the excellent help but I will have to wait until Pay Pal verifies my checking account so it may be a day or two.

I went to thread tools but there is nothing there that says "close this thread." I don't know why as I am signed in.

I will try to close the thread later.

Sorry I couldn't donate more but times are tough here. My husband is in a nursing home and my budget goes mostly to the home for taking care of him.
